I had a good talk with my dad on the phone yesterday afternoon on Father’s Day. I suppose it’s traditional to list the reasons why you love your Dad but I want to tell you why I know my Dad loves me.

My Dad prays for me every day.

My Dad tells a great story of a time I often remember. It still kind of blows my mind we actually did this. Thanks for the great memories Dad. Just envision two large cars, a full U-Haul trailer and a log chain and then go read “Night Rescue.”

Dad, you need to lead. Your kids need you to lead. Your wife needs you to lead. And for the Godly father, leading begins with teaching your family God’s Word. But for some that seems like a daunting task.
