Much of the world that celebrates Christmas does not celebrate Christmas for the reasons we see in John 1. Many do not celebrate the Christ of Christmas. If Christians are going to celebrate Christmas John chapter 1 gives us a solid foundation for our celebrating. In fact we have reason to celebrate the birth of Christ every day.
